After one too many bad haircuts, Kim decided to go to beauty school in 1992 so she would be able to enhance peoples' looks, while also taking the time to sense what their lifestyles were all about. She believes in teaching her clients the "hows" of salon hair, so they can recreate the same results at home.
Kim continues her education to be able to keep up with th latest techniques in cutting and coloring. She has attended classes for Wella, Sebastian and L'Oreal.
