Specialties:    Katherine not only does everything from edgy to sophisticated cuts but is also a master colorist and recently finished a refresher series of master classes from the Italian color line she uses called Framesi. She has developed a unique highlighting technique called 'Double Blonde' that gives maximum natural blonde results.

Products Recommended:    Katherine recommends and uses Davines relaxing fluid to protect hair while heat styling and for thick course hair the Innersense Polish as a finishing shine is amazing. Also for color treated hair all of the Davines shampoos and conditioners are great and they have one for every hair type and texture. Their Glam spray is wonderful for a light hold with lots of shine. She also uses the Italian Framesi line of coloring products.

Bio:

Katherine began her career at age 19 assisting some of the best hairstylists and colorists in the area. Her training also included hair academies in Paris and London. She eventually went on to open her own salon in San Francisco (dava dava salon on Union St), and trained her own assistants.

Through the years Katherine has also styled hair for large runway shows, television and video, including ABC Rocks and Billy Preston©'s video for his hit song ©¿And Dance©Ö.

Katherine lives in the East Bay and currently divides her time between San Francisco and Oakland but is gradually working her way to be full time at The Right Angle.
